Global Advisor – Germany

Stephen Strittmatter is a German-American international business and leadership advisor with more than 30 years of experience working across markets, organizations and cultures. Having lived and worked in both North America and Europe, he brings a strong cross-cultural perspective to helping companies and business leaders navigate international growth.

Based in Germany, Stephen is a Partner with AIMS International and has extensive experience supporting internationally active companies with organizational growth, leadership and talent challenges. Throughout his career, he has worked with companies ranging from growing small and mid-sized businesses to major international corporations, with experience spanning Europe, North America, South America, Asia and Africa.

As Global Advisor – Germany, Stephen leads and coordinates the development of the Global Chamber community in Germany. His focus is on bringing together internationally oriented companies and business leaders, strengthening connections between members in Germany and the wider Global Chamber network, and creating opportunities for meaningful international exchange and collaboration.

Stephen is particularly interested in supporting international scale-ups, established small and mid-sized companies and larger organizations with genuine international growth ambitions. He works to connect members across markets, encourage the exchange of knowledge and best practices, and increase the visibility and engagement of active members.

He also initiates and supports regional in-person Global Chamber events in Germany as well as international Globinars, bringing together members, advisors and business leaders from different countries to share practical experience, perspectives and opportunities.

Stephen believes that the greatest value of an international business community comes from active participation: bringing the right people together, sharing knowledge across borders and creating relationships that can develop into meaningful international opportunities.

Global Chamber is a global community of entrepreneurs, innovators, and thought leaders sharing a passion for international business success in Berlin. Our Advisory Board is made up of leaders from top companies and other leaders in the community.

These leaders offer input and advice pertaining to the content and development of programs, events and services geared toward adding value for chamber members and to the region.
