Fernando Fernández 

Secretariat of Migrants and International Affairs of the Government of the State of Guanajuato in Dallas

With a degree in Law from the Universidad Panamericana, Fernando Fernández holds also a Master in Development, Innovation and Change from the University of Bologna, Italy and a Master in Global Affairs from the University of New York, in the United States. Throughout his professional career, Fernando has acquired rich experience in different sectors, having participated in the public sector in leadership positions at both the municipal and state levels in his native Guanajuato; as a consultant for the United Nations in Rome, Italy, and in the private sector as legal advisor and consultant for various projects. Currently, Fernando is in Dallas, where he works as Advisor on International Affairs for the Secretariat of Migrants and International Affairs of the Government of the State of Guanajuato, Mexico. Thanks to the academic and work mobility he has had throughout his life, he speaks Spanish, English, French and Italian.

 

Dr. Manuel de Jesús Gómez Zaldía  

Department of Economics at University of Guanajuato

Manuel is originally from Tapachula, Chiapas. He holds a degree in Economics from the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon, a Master's and a Ph.D. in Economics from the Arizona State University. He has been a professor and researcher at the Department of Economics and Finance of the University of Guanajuato for fourteen years, 2003 to date. He is also professor of the subject for the Tecnológico de Monterrey for seven years, 2010 to date. Researcher of the Regional Studies Division of Banco de México for two years, 2015-2016. Fulbright visiting researcher at Trinity University, San Antonio, Texas, in the 2013-2014 academic year. Manuel is also a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI) since 2006, and since 2016 CONACYT promoted him to level III.

 

María del Carmen García Arriaga  

Head of the Center for Business Entrepreneurship and Technological Innovation CENIT

María del Carmen holds a Bachelor degree in International Business from the University of Guanajuato and is currently enroll in a Master in Administration program.  Her professional experience has mostly been in the Government of the State of Guanajuato collaborating in agencies such as DIF Guanajuato (National System for Integral Family Development) as Private Secretary of the Director General , Private Secretary of the Governor as head of protocol in the Public Relations Office of the Governor, Tourism of the State as the private secretary of the head of the organization, Secretariat of Social and Human Development as a liaison assistant of the Undersecretary of Human Development, in COFOCE as Coordinator of International Affairs in the Direction of Relations and International Affairs. In the Polytechnic University of Pénjamo, institution of higher education and decentralized agency, she worked for 6 years 8 months as head of the department of linking and dissemination. In the private initiative, María del Carmen collaborated at the Hotel Camino Real Guanajuato as an assistant to the management of banquets and at Hoteles Mision as sales executive in the Western region. She posses a certification as a Public Servant of the Government of the State of Guanajuato and has has taught an imaging and protocol course at the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes. In addition, she has accredited the online course "Strategic Organizational Management" given by the Virtual University of the State of Guanajuato and has taken the online Ceremonial and Protocol course for local government officials, taught by the Matías Romero Institute and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Currently, she collaborates as the Head of the Center for Business Entrepreneurship and Technological Innovation CENIT in the Higher Technological Institute of Irapuato ITESI.

 

C.P. Oscar Reyes Rivera  

Tax and Corporate Planning at Kastell Consulting

Oscar has a degree in Public Accounting from the University of Guadalajara, where he also obtained a degree in Law and a Master's Degree in Taxation. He also has a specialty in Tax Law from Castilla La Mancha University, in Spain. He has more than 30 years of experience in the field of Education, both in public and private higher education institutions. He was Founder and President of the Mexican Association of Public Accountants, A.C. Regional School in Aguascalientes, belonging to the National Federation of the Mexican Association of Public Accountants, A.C. In the development of its activities, he has designed and implemented tax planning, estate planning, corporate restructuring, integration of corporate tables, corporate and fiscal legal re-engineering schemes. It has developed specialized programs for the practice of legal audits to companies for the purposes of mergers and acquisitions. His professional development has focused mainly in the Corporate Tax Legal area, as well as Fiscal Defense. He is currently responsible for the area of ​​Tax and Corporate Planning at Kastell Consulting. 

 

Arturo Zamarripa

Indira Jeffrey, Deputy Director

Indira Jeffrey is a Business Developer Consultant and the owner of iGlobal Business Consulting LLC, company based in Chandler AZ since 2015. Indira has 21 years of experience on the fields of Finance, Exports, Imports and Business Development.

Indira has a BA in International Business from the University of Guanajuato, Mexico and MBA in International Business from Thunderbird, School of Global Management, Glendale AZ and Instituto Tecnologico de Monterrey, Monterrey Mexico.

Indira main interest are to help small to medium size companies that are looking to expand or to export to and from USA, Mexico, Latin America and Europe

As Latina and Entrepreneur Indira has helped since 2002 more than 300 small business owners in Mexico and in the US.
