Global Chamber® Yemen Advisory Board
Global Chamber® is a global community of entrepreneurs, innovators, and thought leaders sharing a passion for international business success in Yemen. Our Advisory Board is made up of leaders from top companies and other leaders in the community.
These leaders offer input and advice pertaining to the content and development of programs, events and services geared toward adding value for chamber members and to the region.
The following leaders serve on the Board of Advisors to assist the Global Chamber® Yemen in our mission to grow business in Yemen and around the world.
Chairman of the Advisory Board - Global Chamber® Yemen
Dr. Amr Abdul Salam AlmekhlafiMr. Amr Abdul Salam Almekhlafi is a visionary leader in the fields of international trade, economic development, and investment facilitation. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA - UK), he holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a Master's degree in International Business Administration.
Over the past decade, Mr. Almekhlafi has emerged as one of Yemen's most dynamic economic connectors - bridging local markets with global opportunities. Through his role as Executive Director of the Global Chamber® Yemen, he spearheads high-level partnerships that bring international investors, businesses, and institutions into direct collaboration with Yemeni stakeholders.
He co-founded EMAC Consulting Services, and is also the founder of Al-Muasira Company for Commercial Agencies, Top Pioneers Institute for Medical Devices Services, and Aseel Foundation for Relief and Development.
Mr. Almekhlafi works closely with international executives, heads of state, and multinational corporations to champion economic transformation and empower trade flows into Yemen. His mission is clear: revitalize Yemen's private sector, create jobs, and unlock new investment frontiers for global partners.

Dr. Abdah Mohammed Al-Hakimi
Former First Deputy Minister of Social Affairs and Labor
Former First Deputy Minister of Social Affairs and Labor in Yemen, and a distinguished leader in social development and institutional reform. He brings extensive experience in public administration, fostering partnerships between government, private sector, and civil society organizations. Renowned for his commitment to economic empowerment and social solidarity programs, he played a key role in advancing national social welfare policies.
Dr. Ahmed Said Shumakh
Member of the Shura Council and Founder of the Center for Studies
Dr. Shumakh is a distinguished Yemeni economist and Shura Council member with extensive experience in financial and economic matters, as well as leadership of academic and research initiatives in Yemen, making him a valuable strategic contributor to the Board.
Amin Marouf Al-Jund

Asia Al-Mashreqi
President of the Sustainable Development Foundation
Asia is one of Yemen’s most prominent humanitarian leaders. Through her foundation, she has led large-scale relief, education, and health initiatives serving thousands of families across Yemen. She is also a key advocate for women’s role in humanitarian response, and she has been honored with the Nansen Refugee Award in recognition of her outstanding humanitarian contributions.
Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Hamri
Senior Advisor - Advisory Council
Dr. Mohammed Al-Hamri holds both a Master's and a PhD from top Jordanian universities. He has served in various educational and governmental capacities and spent over 15 years as the Undersecretary at the Ministry of Agriculture in Yemen. Dr. Al-Hamri is highly sought after as an agricultural policy advisor and continues to consult for several international universities and organizations.

University Professor, one of the foremost supporters of higher education and universities in Yemen,
and the Secretary-General of the International Union of Universities in Yemen.
Dr. Najeeba Al-Shuwafi
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health
Dr. Najeeba is a respected academic leader with extensive experience in higher education and research in Yemen and the region. She is widely recognized for her work in promoting women’s empowerment, leadership, and social development.
Dr. Saad Al-Jaradi
Senior Advisor - Advisory Council
Dr. Saad Al-Jaradi is a PhD holder in Investment Economics and has worked for many years with global institutions and international development organizations. He also served for decades at the International Bank of Yemen as Director of Credit and Loans. With vast experience in financial systems, economic growth, and cross-border investment planning, Dr. Al-Jaradi brings unmatched expertise to the Advisory Council.
Haj Abdulrashid Al-Aamri
Haj Abdulrashid Al-Aamri
as President of the Yemen Union of Pharmaceutical Importers. He is a prominent Yemeni businessman, founder of Al-Fath Pharmaceuticals, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in Yemen, and is regarded as one of the leading business figures in the country.
Hashem Ghaleb Al-Suwari
Senior Advisor - Advisory Council
Mr. Hashem Al-Suwari is the current Director of the Chamber of Commerce in Yemen and a well-known Yemeni businessman with deep experience in trade, commerce, and organizational development. He has played a key role in modernizing the chamber's commercial services and actively contributes to the national economy through his long standing work in multiple business sectors.
Sheikh Faris Manaa
Businessman and Investor
Sheikh Faris is a renowned Yemeni businessman and philanthropist with decades of experience in trade, investment, and peacebuilding initiatives. His network and expertise will be pivotal in strengthening regional business ties.
