Adam is a Managing Director of Sales at UPS NorCal in Oakland, CA. Adam is a transportation / logistics expert with more than 15 years of collective experiences all while working for Atlanta-based UPS. Adam has served in a variety of capacities at UPS and has been based in multiple locations to include Minnesota, Texas, Tennessee, Michigan, and most recently in California. Adam received his BS in Communications from Augsburg College.

Angela is most recently is an entrepreneur with a start-up business. Previously she was Enterprise Business Development Manager at iiPay, a market leader in enterprise global payroll services. Previously, she was the West Regional Sales Executive for Blue Marble covering Northern California and Pacific Northwest. Angela joined Blue Marble in 2015 after a 15 year career at ADP. During her tenure at ADP, she held 9 different roles ranging from Human Resources, HCM Sales, BPO Sales, Sales Leadership and a myriad of other responsibilities. Angela’s expertise in HCM and Global payroll has been leveraged by some of the most recognized Silicon Valley companies in the Bay Area. While happily residing in the East Bay with her fiancé, Cameron, you can find Angela playing softball on her weekend co-ed league or enjoying the great outdoors at Golden Gate Park.

Carol is the Regional Alliance Manager for Safeguard Global based out of San Francisco Bay Area. She works with all size companies in all industry verticals expanding globally and sourcing international talent. Carol has worked in the global cross-border field throughout her entire career. Chia-Lin Simmons is the CEO / C-Founder of MyPinWheel, a Parenting Smart Assistant (Mobile + Big Data + AI) startup. She is also the Founder of #binderfullofwomenfounders, a mini-movement focused on helping female founders find and secure funding. Prior to RedHelicopter, Chia-Lin was the Head of Global Partner Marketing for Google's digital business Google Play Music and the Google Play Store (downloadable music, movies/tv, apps & game). During her tenure at Google, she increase music trials for Google Play Music, managed marketing for Google Play Gift Cards, launched new in-home, mobile, wireless and brand partners and increase revenue. She also worked on go-to-marketing and special projects Asia, Russia, and Latin America. Chia-Lin was the VP of Marketing & Content for Harman International (NASDAQ: HAR) for 3.5 years prior to joining Google where she was responsible for global marketing, content and marketing business development, content programming, product marketing and customer support for the company's Connected Car business, Prior to joining Harman in 2010, Chia-Lin was the VP of Marketing and General Manager of Playphone North America, a senior business development executive at AOL / Time Warner and the VP of Strategic Alliances at Audible (an Amazon company) where she managed revenue, customer acquisition/retention and business development. Chia-Lin graduated Magna cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from U.C. San Diego and received her MBA from Cornell University, where she was a Park Leadership Fellow. Her Fellowship project was the Big Red Incubator, a technology startup incubator for technology developed out of Cornell University. Chia-Lin also has a JD from George Mason University School of Law and is a licensed New York State attorney.

John D. Thomas

John is CEO of Helix Motors, Inc., which develops an innovative, patented and technically advanced three-wheel vehicle to help reduce traffic congestion and pollution, while also helping to conserve natural resources. Prior to Helix, John had experience at all levels at Fortune 500 companies in addition to earning several stripes in the startup community. John worked his way up in the “Big-3” automotive industry with 16 years in product & production engineering at General Motors Fisher Body and Ford Powertrain followed by 13 years of increased responsibility at major Tier 1 automotive suppliers and OEMs such as GKN, Collins & Aikman and Magna Steyr before moving to Tesla Motors where he was selected to be the first Head of the Model S program and General Manager of its Michigan and future factory operations. John honed this art for several years at Tesla Motors followed by founding and running his own startup ALTe Powertrain Technologies for over 5 years before establishing international operations for clients in the electric vehicle and cleantech space in China, Australia and the EU. Over the last 8 years, John has been sought out to be a speaker and presenter at many conferences in the US and globally where he shared his views on technology, rebuilding the middles class and disruptive business models which can result in a win/win outcome for all stakeholders. Ken Rosenberg is a senior executive with over 30 years of experience in international banking and trade finance and heads up the International Banking Group at Bridge Bank, a division of Western Alliance Bank. Mr. Rosenberg is an expert in international banking, trade finance and export trading company operations and has conducted business in 35 countries. He has extensive experience in the creation and delivery of unique international financial products and services. He pioneered the concept of outsourcing inventory ownership of goods in the supply chain and developed the concept of using trading company techniques to finance international trade transactions. Mr. Rosenberg has developed and implemented business plans for several major banks including the start-up of an international banking corporation, a foreign accounts receivable factoring company and a supply chain finance division.

Over her ~17 year career as an international economist, Liga has worked for a variety of leading organizations and agencies ranging from the U.S. Department of Treasury – Internal Revenue Service, Charles River Associates International, BlackRock, Franklin Templeton Investments, DLA Piper, to her most recent post at Agilent Technologies, where Liga is a Director and manages an international team focused on IP, services and product pricing policies, advanced pricing agreements and international audit defense. She maintains extensive expertise and specialization in transfer pricing experience based on her global tax and trade consulting, government policy development, and internal corporate advisory experiences. Since 2011, Liga has also worked as an Honorary Consul for the Republic of Latvia (Northern California). Richard is the Co-Founder of EVAOS (Electric Vehicle Add-On Systems), a disruptive Silicon Valley Startup transforming trucks into both hybrid and all-electric vehicles with mobile power stations for the Department of Defense and commercial customers. Richard developed a complex corporate eco-system for EVAOS comprised of Tesla suppliers and corporate partners that participate in the investment, design, and assembly of their technology. Prior to EVAOS, Richard served as the first Quality Manager for the Model S (code named White Star) for Tesla Motors in Rochester Hills Michigan. Richard spent his early automotive career in the technical management ranks of American Specialty Cars. Throughout his career with the Japanese, German, and US automakers, Richard launched 3 ground-up manufacturing facilities, revolutionized robotic 3D laser scanning technology (for which he holds patents), and successfully launched OEM programs for Mitsubishi, Toyota, and BMW on time, on cost, and on Quality with less than 0.5%ppm.

Prior to joining Zero Mass Water, Vinayak Gupta was responsible for the global manufacturing supply chain operations at SolarCity (acquired by Tesla Motors), where he was instrumental in establishing the US Solar Gigafactory, the largest solar manufacturing plant in the western hemisphere. Before joining SolarCity, Vinayak held executive positions as SVP of Global Operations and VP of Supply Chain Operations at SunEdison, where he scaled their operations globally to a multi-billion dollar enterprise while delivering solar farms and establishing global manufacturing in multiple countries.
